48-Key Feature Phone

An ESI 48-Key Feature Phone (backlit version shown, right) is ideal for most active phone users. Its large display and abundant programmable feature keys help you achieve maximum productivity. And, if you need even more programmable keys, it’s easy to connect up to two optional Expansion Consoles, each giving you an additional 60 programmable feature keys.

There are two versions of the 48-Key Feature Phone:
48-Key Digital Feature Phone

Connects to our high-performance phone systems to provide an equally high level of performance.
Systems: ESI Communications Servers; IVX S-Class.
Programmable keys: 30 [up to 150 with optional Expansion Consoles attached].
VOICE MAIL key: Yes; dedicated.
HELP key: Yes; dedicated.
Display: Three-line, 56-character.

48-Key IP Feature Phone II

Provides the same great ESI phone capabilities as does the 48-Key Digital Feature Phone, yet with the additional advantage of “one-wire” VoIP (voice over IP) telephony. Works both locally (LAN) and remotely (WAN or Internet). Uses either Power over Ethernet or regular AC power, to maximize your connection convenience.

24-Key Digital Feature Phone

The 24-Key Digital Feature Phone (backlit version shown, right) is perfect for lower-traffic users who need access to system features but require less customization.

The 12-Key Digital Feature Phone is designed for occasional users and for areas such as lobbies, warehouses and waiting rooms.

Voice mail key: Programmed.
HELP key: Yes (combo PROG/HELP); dedicated.
Display: One-line, 16-character.
Speaker: Yes. Speakerphone: No.

ESI Cordless Handsets

Each ESI Cordless Handset uses proven, reliable 900 MHz technology to provide mobility to the user who’s constantly on the move in the office. (Why 900 MHz? Because it passes through walls far more effectively than cordless telephony using the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, which are intended more for residential than workplace use.) You get the same rich ESI feature set as in the 24-Key Feature Phone — but in a compact, lightweight, portable handset. The ESI-exclusive Quick Switch feature makes going from your desktop ESI phone to your Cordless Handset, or back again, as easy as pressing a key.

ESI Cordless Handsets come in two sizes (small and large), and there are three different versions for each size:

  • Remote IP
    Works from a broadband-equipped remote location (such as your home or a small satellite office) just as if it were on the regular phone system at your main office. Uses G.729 voice compression. The base station uses Power over Ethernet, to maximize your connection convenience.

Availability of IP capabilities determined by system configuration. IP-enabled legacy ESI systems use different IP desktop phones for local and remote applications. Consult your ESI Reseller for additional details.
